Our Roots
At Diva’s Empowerment Resource Center, everything we do is grounded in Rooted to Rise: The Bloom & Blossom Experience. This life-empowerment framework meets people where they are and helps them navigate challenges with confidence. Through classes, coaching, and support, we guide individuals and families toward Empowerment, Growth, Healing, and Renewal—available online or in-person to meet every need.

Our services are available to individuals and families throughout the Shreveport/Bossier area. Can't make it in person? No problem - we also offer secure online sessions, so you can connect from wherever you are.

Ms. Penny D. Washington, Founder & Executive Director
Ms. Penny D. Washington is an Author, Life Coach, Speaker and Domestic Violence Survivor. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Diva’s Empowerment Resource Center. With years of experience in advocacy, empowerment, and community work. Penny created Rooted To Rise: The Bloom and Blossom Experience from her own journey - proving that even through the dirt, we can Rise, Bloom, and Blossom.
